soft landing

I moved to New York and have been letting these people take my money ever since. So, spend a couple days with me in New York City. First stop was to get my nails and toes done because they were atrocious. I paid a 165 for this. Granted, I didn't research the shop beforehand, so that's on me. Next stop was to go get my strawberry milk, aka my matcha. Y'all know I don't like matcha for real. I really only get it when I'm out of town. And I actually tell them heavy on the milk, light on the matcha. Thank you. But I am a bagel girl, so I went to Leon's Bagels and got a bagel sandwich. Y'all, why did I drop half the sandwich? The other half was good though. Post breakfast, I did a little bit of shopping at Alo. How cute is this set? And then after that, this dress. And then after that, I headed over to the Chelsea Flea. I primarily go to the Chelsea Flea to find cute, creative jewelry pieces. I was gonna get this watch, but the lady was rude, so I put it back. But I did run into this girl and she was selling rings, so I got two. The two-tone puzzle piece? Perfect. After that, I went into Times Square to watch the fireworks. Got my pizza and took my butt back home. Next morning, I had a few meetings and some homework to do before I went to brunch with my friend. And then after that, I went right back to shopping. Honestly, SoHo needs to ban me because I've been there every day tapping this phone on that machine. Today's mission was a vintage bag, so I went to all y'all's favorite shops like the real, real and What Goes Around Comes Around. They had some cute stuff, but nothing I was really looking for until I went into the Rebelonging. Vintage. I found my Speedy 40. The past few weeks, I've been debating between this bag and the smaller Keepall. But once I tried on the smaller Keepall, I felt like it was a little too big. I also didn't want to buy brand new because my plan is for this to be a travel bag. I do still take care of all my pre-owned things, but this is going to be my personal item, baby. If I need to run a day flight, I'm running that day flight and that bag's gonna be flying with me. I took her right back home on the train to Brooklyn and got into my night routine because my show was coming on. I've been taking over these people's movie room in this apartment building every single night because in my head, I am a real resident and I do have access to amenities. But I still managed to go to bed on time because yes, I had work in the morning. My office.
