We rescued a dog covered with thousands of ticks

We thought removing the fur would solve the problem. But we were only halfway there. Even after the first shave, ticks were still crawling across her body. Some had buried themselves so deeply they couldn't be removed safely without extra treatment. So we rushed her into a medicated bath designed to kill every remaining parasite. Then we carefully searched every inch of her body again. One by one, we removed the ticks that had been feeding on her for who knows how long. Only after we were certain she was finally safe, did we begin her final groom. As the last loose hairs fell away, a completely different dog stood in front of us. She looked lighter, comfortable, and for the first time in a very long time, she looked truly relieved. This wasn't just a grooming transformation. It was the moment she finally got a second chance. Now there's only one thing left to hope for. This sweet girl finds a family who will never let her suffer like this again.
