The other day my friends asked me what the worst day I had ever been on was. Let me set the scene for you guys. I'm 19, I'm in New York, I'm on dating apps. I match with this guy. We go out, we get dinner, it's great. Second date, he's like, come over to my apartment and we can cook dinner. I was like, cute, sounds good. Go over to his apartment, we cook dinner, it's great. We start watching a movie. Ten minutes go by, all of a sudden my head is like, feeling a little sparkly and the walls are like, swaying. So I get up and I'm like, can I lay down in your bed for a second? I'm not feeling too well. He's like, mmm. And I'm like, it'll literally be a couple minutes, I just need to like regroup. He's like, sure. So I go lay in his bed. All of a sudden, I cannot move a single part of my body. Like my head is like a 10 pound bowling ball. He comes in, and I'm like, can you grab me a glass of water? He looks at me and he goes, no. I was like, okay. Then I was like, can you grab me my phone? Because I had left it in the other room. He looks at me and he goes, no. I was like, okay. Now I'm hyper aware of my surroundings and I'm like, oh my god. I'm going to die in an apartment in Midtown. This is how I go. He finally comes back in with my phone. I immediately call an Uber. He's like, you're already leaving? I'm like, what do you mean I'm already leaving? Yes. Get me the hell out of Midtown. He starts giving me a lecture about how I was super rude to come over and then just leave. And I'm like, this is ridiculous. Like you cannot make this shit up. Finally, the Uber gets here. I literally pull myself out of the third dimension and wherever I was in space, walk myself down to that Uber and I never look back. Why I did it, I don't know. But ladies, the thing that you should learn from this is never trust a man who doesn't have an apartment in Midtown. Number two, don't ever do something stupid like that if you barely know the man. But I guess I hope that man is well. I don't really know what I wish for that man. I'm just glad that I ate. It was not, it was not the worst date I've ever been on. Dating in New York. What a throw. What a time.
