Since the recruitment is happening right now, I have a story time about one of my more awkward conversations with the PNM that I just have to share because like, rush is the blur. You seriously don't remember anything. However, there are a few conversations that get drilled into your head as a core memory. And for me, this was one of them. This was like, beginning of rush. Maybe like day two, I think. Me and this girl, we're talking, we're vibing, we're kicking. It's a good time. All of a sudden, working out gets brought up. We're talking walking, Pilates, she brings up core power. And I was like, my girl, this is my shit. Let's talk about it. She's like, it's the hardest workout class. I was like, oh my god, I totally agree. And listen guys, confident but not cocky. Always stay humble and kind. All of a sudden, Homegirl starts repeating back to me word for word, a TikTok I had posted about core power. Like, you guys were talking about it. And I got so awkward. I don't know why, but I all of a sudden just threw me for a loop. And I just giggle and I was like, I don't know, your intentions here. Like, I didn't know what she was getting at. So I just like, I didn't know how to pivot. And I just laughed. I started doing like the bump group thing, I'm like scratching my ear. Baby, there is no playing. Like my bump group must have been on lunch because nobody came to save me. So then we just sat there in silence for another like 10 minutes. I don't know, you guys, it was like, I literally you guys, she told me my address. Like for some reason, it just like really threw me for a loop. And they don't prep you for these kinds of things in rush week. If you're going through rush right now, just talk about heated rivalry. Are you an Ilia Rosanov or Shane Hollander or girl? Like that is what the fans want to hear. And if you're going through rush right now, like God speed. Queen, like it is move. And was that my worst rush story? Absolutely not. Maybe one day I'll sit down and we can have a sorority tell all. But until then, this is what I can give you.
