Today, we had the pleasure of welcoming a lovely young client who is studying in Grade 7 in the USA. She visited our salon with her parents and wished to have beautiful hair highlights. It made us reflect on how different cultures approach self-expression. With the love, guidance, and permission of her parents, she was encouraged to make a choice that reflected her personality. When children are given age-appropriate opportunities to make decisions, they often develop confidence, responsibility, and a stronger sense of self.
