I genuinely can't believe we're on day 30. What the hell? We made it. Yay! Me? Am I right? Okay, let's do a quick recap. I took down some notes. Let's do a recap over how I believe my speaking abilities have improved over the span of 30 days. Let's get into it. Number one, I feel like I'm way more comfortable. Okay. I'm going to go over two improvements and two could use more improvements. Get one. Number one improvement. I am way more comfortable being in front of the camera now. Like, I'm just, I'm just sitting here like, what's up? And it doesn't phase me anymore. And even if I don't have in mind what I wanted to say next, more to pauses. I'm just, I'm just staring into the camera like, yeah, like what's up? I don't necessarily feel the need to fill the silence, you know? Number two, like, comfortable. The recording. I'm comfortable recording myself. That has also translated to confidence in the real world. A shining example of this was actually on day seven of this challenge where I filmed myself, just filming, just walking outside, in the middle of the night after it happened. But what happened that I was rolling on a high, almost, right? From from all the confidence I've been gaining, um, with this challenge. And I asked a guy out for the first time ever. That never happened. That never ever happens before. I literally never done anything like that before. And I just did it. And I, we were at a bar, I wasn't even drunk, I was dead sober. And I was with my friends and on the way out, I asked the cute waiter that's been taking good care of us. If he wanted to have dinner with me. He said no, unfortunately. But still, the fact that I was just willing to casually ask him like that, like, hey, you want to go out sometime? Look at me go, like, and I just, I didn't expect that to just casually what's ever happened. But it did. And this, like, I can only attribute why that happened to this, you know what? Higher confidence. I fuck with that. So, the things that could use some extra improvement for next time, if I want to do this again, no. But number one, I definitely want to focus on way less filler words, time. Better next time. Number two, procrastination needs fucking when it comes to doing this challenge because I found myself pushing it to the very few last minutes of the night to upload the video to make an upload the video. And I don't want to be doing that before. And I can attribute that fact that I have ADHD, but still, it's not ideal, right? It doesn't up the cuff speaking, you know, and posting it, no matter what time of the day it is, whether I feel ready or not. That's the point. But I didn't do that. And I was just push it to the very last second. And I don't want to be doing that anymore. Yeah, overall, still net positive and it is something that I would highly recommend for anyone to improve their speaking abilities, confidently, off the cuff, and improve their abilities. Okay, all. Cha cha.
