Chrome is sort of like Thanos, just snapping away half of your RAM every single time you open a new tab. But we are basing this on just the developer experience, which I think Chrome has some of the best developer tools. Not my personal favorite, but Hall of Fame for sure. Edge is basically Chrome, but with a bad PR team. It will forever be plagued by these sins of its grandfather, Internet Explorer. But honestly, it's perfectly fine. I don't know why I would choose it over Chrome, but solid. Safari is fine and they seem to have worked out most of the kinks that they've been known for. That said, in my opinion, the developer tools are completely lacking. Honestly, last resort for me. I actually prefer Firefox over Chrome. I think it has better developer tools, but still not my absolute in Hall of Fame. Chrome. Fun fact, Internet Explorer still has nearly half a percent of market share. If that's you, please stop using it. Firefox developer edition gives you all the benefits of Firefox, but with extra beta developer tools. By far the best choice for software developers in my opinion.
