VS Code B tier. It's like pretty alright, the classic coding editor everyone kind of uses it but not typically ideal for in-person exams. Cursor, Cursor's probably A tier, you know, AI and Vibe code editing is really big right now, super useful, has all the integrations and stuff like that. JetBrains D tier, this shit sucks, do not use it. I don't even know why they require it in some classes, but yeah. Zed IDE, it's B tier. It's a little bit worse than VS Code, it's open source, has a lot of interesting plugins and features, but the grid paper has to go in A tier, pretty solid, really good for writing out all of your code. You can make lines going down and stuff like that. And obviously the king of all IDEs, blank paper, S tier. You literally can't go wrong with it.
