Well folks, we've woken up in bizarro-world: a beloved multiplayer shooter is coming back from the dead, free of its live service trappings. The game is Deceive Inc, a PvP, Hitman-like shooter that got good reviews, had a loyal fanbase, but didn't generate eleventy trillion dollars. So it died with its studio in 2024. Fast forward to today, and the fans turned on their PCs to find an update waiting for the game. We don't believe Deceive Inc should quietly disappear, said the accompanying news post.
