Hook
things I wish I knew when I was going into 8th grade. First, make sure y'all grades are excellent the first quarter because that's the only quarter that they look at. So make sure that they're excellent. That they show what you could really do. Because let me tell you, your papers speak for you when you're not in the room. Especially if you know in seventh grade that your grades was not the best. Baby, you need to be showing what you could do. You need to be showing off first quarter. Second, make sure you have good relationships with all your teachers because let me tell you, they need you for a paycheck, but baby, you need them to succeed to go to the next level. Think about it like this, why would a teacher ever need a voucher for you or write anything for you if they don't know you? So make sure you build a good relationship with all your teachers. And not just for the first like, you know, couple months when y'all applying for high school. No, baby, because in case you need to petition, you need somebody on your side. Especially the ones that you know that no how to network really good and seem like they're well connected around your city. Like baby, yes, get on that. Lastly, do not stress yourself out too much. Don't give me wrong, take it really serious, but also remember to have fun. Because I was cool with everybody that I thought I wasn't gonna be cool with before. Just make sure like when you're going through the years and stuff, like do not do something because you don't think it's cool. If it's cool to you, then you need to do it because you don't want to look back and regret it. So yeah.
