If you're in the San Fernando Valley and you're familiar with Reseda Boulevard, you can easily pass this place up, but it's been here for eight years, you guys. I've never been here, the whole, life. Okay, so we're gonna go ahead and try some Filipino-inspired breakfast, coffees and drinks, so let's go. I found out about this Filipino cafe through another person that was actually vendors at her little events that she does. The owner's name is Abby and she's literally the sweetest person ever. I still can't believe she's been here for eight years and literally have the inside is so calm, you guys. It's very dim in there, you get the natural lighting from the street side of the shop. And one of these ladies, her name was Cat, actually met her here at the. And when she recognised me, I'm gonna be like this. Many nice things about the owner. And after COVID, it's been tough, some here to highlight some that I got to. Over on the drinks, just because sound wasn't the best. I told the person at the register if he can give me one drink that's not too sweet and then one that is sweet so I can let you guys know. This one is a Tiramisu Latte and I honestly thought it was gonna be very sweet, but it's a perfect sweetness. You still taste the coffee flavour. Then one that he recommended that's not too sweet is the Ube Latte. And with that, you definitely get that as a prominent flavor. But for both, you could still get the coffee flavour, which I really like. If you're not a coffee drinker, they do have matchas and they have some lemonades like this. This one's the strawberry lemonade one, and honestly, I really liked it. It's not too sour and it's a perfect addition to your meal. If you're ordering any breakfast or. Now time for the Filipino food. This is my first time. This one is a beef tapa plate. I'm not too familiar with Filipino food, but this definitely feels like a lunch or breakfast plate. And let me tell you guys, the meat was so flavourful. I can definitely see like, mixing it kind of being like a fried rice situation. Not that many places have actual. Can enjoy. So I think that's great. Love the meat, it wasn't too chewy. You get a good garlic flavour on the rice. I did have my husband give it a try as well. He ate the whole thing and then I'm more of a chicken person, so I ate the chicken longanisa plate. Which is basically the same thing, just a different protein. And essentially, chicken patty fried, which flavour wise, it's something I haven't had before. But between both of the plates, I think I really like the steak. I think it's just because it's more familiar to my taste buds. Now this pickled cucumber situation is what this plate needed in my opinion. Maybe it's my Latina side, like I always feel like I always need a little kick of spice on my plate. And this really actually ended up taking the little container home to go. I know there's shops to choose from, haven't been here, and support the small business. But they do have lot in the back. My husband and I left so full, so satisfied. Definitely have to come down and support the small business. Let's get their sales up. And, you know, smile to keep going and serving in Reseda. On Friday night, they actually have a DJ coming. They're gonna have mocktails, a lot of fun stuff. And then Sunday, they're gonna have a bunch of small vendors in the back parking lot. You do not make sure you. I'm gonna tag them in the description. If you come from my video, let them know Sandy sent you.
