Over my shoulder is 400W of solar. Above my head is 400 more watts of solar. Behind me is a 9K BTU mini split. Consisting next to me is a 100 amp hour DUMFUME LiFePO4 battery, a 2000W pure sine wave inverter and a 50 amp MPPT charge controller. Now everything you see here just ran that 9K BTU mini split in a very small room set at maximum efficiency that was comfortable. It just ran for 28 hours. Now I could have made it run a little bit longer. I did make a few mistakes. I talk about those in the full video. But it is possible. I think the sweet spot is 600 to 700 watts of solar, wired correctly. That's a hint for the full video. And a 100 amp hour battery, barely made it through the night with that mini split set to sleep at 75 degrees. I barely made it through the night. But we made it. Check out the full video. It's got some really interesting things. And the mess up that I did. My solar projects are coming along. I'm going to figure out and dial in what I need to do to run this AC, maybe another AC in the garage. So stick around. Catch you on the next one.
