I changed the way that I pray to God and my life changed immensely for the better almost overnight. Almost overnight. I want to give you a new definition for prayer, some of you. Prayer is a positive mental transaction within your own mind. Prayer is a positive mental transaction within your own mind. And so as such, prayer is not even a religious exercise. Prayer is what you say to yourself within yourself. Prayer is what I say about myself within myself. As a Christian or any religious person, you have way more power over your destiny than you've been led to believe. Most people, especially Africans, I grew up learning this. We beg, we plead, we cry, we implore, we beseech, we do everything but actually pray when we talk to God. We approach God, the divine Jesus, from a place of weakness. I did the same. But as a neurotheology student, I'm here to tell you that you need to rewire your understanding of prayer, period. Prayer is not a desperate plea. It's a two-way technology. It's quantum. It's an energetic conduit between your intentions and the universal mind and God. The ultimate signal of power in prayer, when you know you're praying correctly, is unshakable self-belief. It's self-efficacy. God himself said, the kingdom of God is within you. I want to repeat that. The kingdom of God is within you. We are not supplicants, we are co-creators with God. He said this himself. Write it down, make it plain, and I will give it to you. That's literally scripting. That's manifestation. Write it down, make it plain. If you write it down, you get a pen and paper, scripting. If you write it down, I will give it to you. It's that simple. Here's how I pray, and I want you to pray the same starting tomorrow and see something changes in your life. I make a definitive decision in my life. Very definitive. I'm very clear about it. Absolutely clear. I set my intention, and then I pick up this phone and I call him on this one. Hi, God. How are you? Oh, yeah. What what are you doing? How's Jesus? Everyone's doing well? Wonderful. Here's what I'm working on in my life right now, okay? We're going to work on it together for the next 21 days, and on the 22nd day, I will have it, okay? That's it. I want you to believe in the limitless, magnificent power of God that resides within you. No more begging. You ask, you command. I want you to write below, I'm going to decide, I'm going to declare, and I'm going to decree my life moving forward. So I want you to write below, decide, declare, decree. Decide, declare, decree.
