Honestly may offend some people but I have to say it. The amount of feminine and out of shape men in the church is concerning. We pulled up to the church and it was like a fashion show. I'm all for dressing nice. These men were dolled up more than their wives. It just seems to me nowadays that church is very performative. It's almost like we're just going for some type of vibe. 1 Timothy 4:8 says physical training is of some value, but godliness is valuable above all things. Notice how it says some value, not all value. The Bible even talks about our bodies being a temple. Got to take care of it. I get it, church is a safe place. Being men of God is a safe place. But it's not a soft place.
