If you have a 3D printer and you wanna start a 3D printing business, I am here to help you. My name is Anthony and I've been doing this for five years full time and I've been 3D printing for 10. A lot of people ask me, where do I start? Well, I'm gonna assume that you have a 3D printer and you have a computer. I'm gonna assume that you already have a Facebook page for your business and if you don't do that right away and invite every single one of your friends. The next thing I would do is I would post on community pages saying that I will print replacement parts or I would do free printing. I know a lot of people aren't gonna like that, but hear me out. Let me tell you why this is the best thing. Number one, they're getting, you're adding value to their life. If you don't know your printer very well and you don't know how to do 3D modelling, this is the best learning opportunity for you. Let's say a customer comes to you and says, hey, this thing broke, I need a replacement. They don't make it anymore. That is the golden opportunity for you to monetize on that situation with free. So because you did all the troubleshooting, um, making sure that it worked for that customer, now you know that it works 100%. So you're gonna take that STL file and you can either sell it online or you can 3D print that part over and over again and list it on your own shop. A lot of people sit around thinking of 3D printed products when there's plenty of people that are gonna tell you what they need. A lot of people say that they like free things, but nine out of ten times in my experience, somebody's gonna give you five dollars at least or maybe like a ten dollar gift card to Taco Bell. Another benefit to this is you can ask the customer for a review. Just send them to your Facebook page or your Google Business profile and now you got 5 star reviews. If you do this over and over for a couple months, you're gonna have a database of great reviews and people are gonna start to trust you more.
