How to colour block your outfits step by step. Like the cool girls. Step by step. Okay, so step one, you need to pick your hero colour. Mine is going to be this turquoise top from Bershka. Step two. Now you want to decide if you want contrast or something softer. For example, blue and orange or blue and green. I'm going to go for yellow and turquoise. These look much softer together compared to like a hot pink colour like this for example. This is like a high contrast option. Then the next step is to repeat the colour. So I am bringing in a blue bag as well. It doesn't matter that it's not the exact same colour of blue. This actually makes it more interesting. I'm also going to add some blue in with my sunglasses. Step four. Keep everything else simple. So now you've got your colourful main pieces, you want to keep everything else out. Simple. For example, I'm going to be wearing just plain brown and neutral flip flops. But again, that was a tactical choice because I do have brown sunglasses. Now let's just put it together. Here is the outfit. This outfit is actually very, very versatile. So I'm going to show you how you can actually change the hero colour. So right now the hero colour is blue. But if I simply add a brown bag, is the hero colour brown? I could add some brown bangles. And then one more. I've got a little yellow bag. And I could always add some yellow flip flops on.
