A road trip you HAVE to take before you die 🇨🇦 😭

Everyone should do this road trip at least once in their life. 🇨🇦✨ Save this itinerary for your future road trip through Newfoundland & Labrador, one of Canada’s most underrated provinces. Of course, this is just a little taste! The province is huge, and there are countless incredible places to explore beyond this list. 🚐 We rented a camper van with Got me drove, and it was honestly the best way to explore Newfoundland. Having the freedom to stop whenever we wanted, wake up surrounded by incredible scenery, and change our plans along the way made the whole experience even more special. 📍 St. John’s & surroundings 2–5 days • Jellybean Row • Signal Hill. North Head Trail • The Battery • Quidi Vidi • East Coast Trail: Sugarloaf Path • Cobbler Path, one of my favourites! • Cape Spear Lighthouse catch the first sunrise in North America 📍 Elliston & Bonavista 3-4 days • Elliston Puffin Viewing Site the closest place in North America to see puffins from land! 🐧 • Iceberg spotting in season • Whale watching is also popular here. • Bonavista • Fort Point Lighthouse • Dungeon Provincial Park 📍 Twillingate 3–4 days Known as the Iceberg Capital of the World ❄️ • Iceberg boat tour • Long Point Lighthouse & Twillingate Lighthouse • Downtown Twillingate * there’s also lots of coastal trails to spot icebergs. We did Lower Little Harbour Trailhead and Natural Arch. 📍 Gros Morne National Park 3–7 days This is a long drive from the east coast, so I’d only include it if you have enough time, or if it’s one of the main reasons you’re visiting Newfoundland. It’s absolutely worth it, but honestly, this park deserves its own trip if you can make it happen. Must-do’s: • Western Brook Pond boat tour • Tablelands Trail • Lookout Trail • Steve’s Trail • Gros Morne Summit if it’s open when you visit! • If the summit is closed, I’d still recommend hiking the Gros Morne Approach. 💚Please always travel responsibly and follow Leave No Trace principles.
