We traveled to University of
Michigan, Mott Children's
Hospital
This was me trying to hold
myself together before they
took her for surgery. She was
so scared. I was too, but I
couldn't let her feel that
I asked her to give me a smile.
She was in the ICU.
We were in the waiting room
for almost 12 hours. Worst
day of my and her Dad's life.

This was a month after her
surgery. God was with us.
She only missed a week of
school. Her choice.

MRI follow up at Mott's
2 months post op. She's still
clear!
The tumor was cancer. They
thought it was benign, but it
ended up being so rare, only
60 people worldwide have
been diagnosed.
She picked this tattoo
Be stronger than what breaks you
A beautiful representation of
her journey
3 months post op, she was
crowned Homecoming
Queen

She just had another clear
MRI before this.
MRI # 12 here. Clear scan, 16
months post op!
She's had 13 MRIs in a year
and a half.
Due to the uncertainty of the
tumor recurrence, we travel
7.5 hours every 4 months
For an MRI and meeting with
her team of doctors
Her journey will never end
But with the Grace of God,
she will continue to be
cancer-free 🙏
