The hose to the pool pump burst the other day. Are you kidding me? Yeah, that was traumatic. So I headed down to the pool store this morning to get a replacement hose, but of course, they don't sell replacement parts for the Bestway above ground pools. So I had to order it online and it won't be here until Wednesday. So let's go ahead and see if we can get this hose patched up until the new ones get delivered on Wednesday. So this is the hose that burst the other day and as you can tell, it's actually starting to crack in several different places in between the ribs of the hose. I'm gonna try to get it patched up the best that I can so I can turn the pump back on to finish the short treatment on the pool. A lot of y'all suggested for me to tape it up, so that's exactly what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna put some of this Scotch Mount tape on the crack itself and then I'm gonna wrap everything up in this Gorilla waterproof patch and seal tape. I'm gonna cut some of this tape off. Hopefully, this patch holds up until Wednesday, but this is how it's looking right now. I'm gonna go ahead and get it put back on the pump. So I'm gonna go ahead and get the pump turned on. It's cracked in another hole. Oh my gosh. Every time I turn the water on, another hole forms. So I pretty much got the whole thing taped up. So hopefully this works. So I'm gonna go ahead and get the pump turned on. Oh my gosh. That ain't gonna work either.
