Quick reminder that there is no shame in driving an older car! This is my car. It's literally a beater. The steering went out last summer and I just got it fixed. No, it doesn't really have functioning cup holders. Otherwise, most things fall through. Every time I turn on my car, I hear Bluetooth connection success. And this is where I keep all the parts of my car that have broken off over time, including my mirror covers. So now the light is just on because there's nothing to hold it down. Oh, and I forgot to mention that the window no longer works, so in order to roll it down, I just have to manually push it like that. It also does not have air conditioning, which is low-key something I might get fixed soon because I don't know how much longer I can do this. But my point is, you do not need to be making an expensive car payment to drive a nicer looking car and just fit in with everyone else. Why would I pay $500 a month when I could pay off my debt and save my money for a future house instead?
