this process has made my brain so much more quieter and just feeling a lot more in control of everything that's going on in my head. I'm gonna show you the brain dump system that actually works for my spicy brain and how I can stop rewriting my lists every three days because for the longest time I have been struggling with this so much but feel like I finally cracked the code. I'm gonna share five principles of brain dumping that is actually going to make your brain dump more effective. I also have a printable on my website that will give you the structure but you can really use any piece of paper or ideally a notebook but that brings me to principle number one. principle number one is one place. You want to pick that one single place where everything goes your task ideas, reminders, everything that you want to get out of your head and onto paper. Principle number two is capture it first. Don't worry about organizing it or color coding it in any specific way, just capture the information, get it out of your head and onto paper. Principle 3 later on, you can organize it once you have a little bit more time. I specifically like to highlight and color code to different life areas. I'm gonna go into a little bit more in depth video on my YouTube channel exactly on how I brain dump effectively. But you can highlight, color code, you can add priorities to it if you like. Principle number four and I think this is the most important and what has made the most difference for me is don't rewrite. I think eventually my list is going to get so long in the number of pages that I have that inevitably I will double write something, but that's no problem. I can always add something else, but the idea is that you're not rewriting your list every single day. And then principle number five, I like to close the loop. Basically I go back to my list, I mark things off that I completed with a check mark, I cross it off, I write down the date that I completed the task or if something is no longer relevant because I've just taken it out of my priority list or it's not something that I want to pursue anymore, I'll go ahead and X it off and cross it off. But I like to also keep a record of that I was meaning to do, but maybe things changed.
