CUTTING DOWN

I didn't even plant this. This is a volunteer sunflower and it is the biggest in my garden. That's just how it works. I don't know. The time has come. 50/50 shot I'm gonna get smacked in the face with it, at least one sunflower head. It's about to get real interesting. I brought my hory hory to help but I damn near need gonna come gonna come up a little bit higher on the stalk because this is just way too thick. Because this is just way too thick. I'm caught on the birdhouse gourd. Yeah, we got it. I let these sunflower heads dry out on purpose so I could save the seeds. Having the sunflower heads dry out on the plant, it's fully completed its life cycle. It ensures that you're gonna get a viable. Cut too early, they're gonna be underdeveloped. You're not gonna get anything. Look at it, and I already know it's good. Look at that. Save your own seeds. And it didn't cost you plants for free. Save one head, you get 20 more plants and then multiply it by all of this. Because why wouldn't we want more sunflowers in the world? Now it just looks so empty. That just means I'll have to plant me more sunflowers.
