Yeah, so this interaction truly encapsulates the problem with Americans. Uh, for some reason, you have to earn our compassion. And it's even scarier when you realize that a lot of us have an affinity for cruelty. I mean, we all saw how this man had every opportunity to show us his humanity. Sense of humanity, I guess. Or the ability, just the ability to critique his self or re-evaluate his line of thinking while gaining new information, being like, okay, maybe I should look this up. That doesn't even matter because he's trying to reinforce that, well, he's an illegal, he's a criminal. You know, he shouldn't have done what he did. And so now he's dead. That is, that is the mindset that he wants to have. And so he's willing to go to great lengths to protect that mindset until he's back into a corner, into, maybe if I double down, I'm going to look like a bigot, or I just need to concede and be like, this is wrong. Either way, it's never really truly about compassion. It's just about concession. Okay, well, that's just that one time. They're still getting going after the right ones. The reason why he needs to protect this narrative is to rationalize his mindset, to subcategorize another human being by deeming him illegal, right? By deeming him a criminal. Then he's looking at the people in the camera and trying to have them understand or have them sympathize with his lack of humanity. What if, what if, what if he did this to you? What if he cut the line? You wouldn't like that. Hmm? You waited all this time. You wouldn't like that. And for the average fence sitter, that would be acceptable. But that is not, that's not how it works. To make it seem that immigration and people come to this country, there's a, there's this line. There's people who are in detention for long periods of time, there are people who are denied, there are people that are trekking long miles and, and unfortunately that are dead. There are people who are killed, there are people that are accepted, there's interviews, there's, there's so many different things when it comes to immigration and the immigration process is already fucked. It doesn't even matter if it's the wrong way or the right way. If the president says that way is not the way that I like you coming into this country, you're going to agree. That's, you're going to agree. It doesn't matter if the law says it's okay, you don't care. Because you will find any excuse to hate people. This drunk bitch sat up here, walked up to this camera, so confident and said some of the most disgusting things to justify this man's death. This is not uncommon, okay? This is not uncommon. This is not a one-off instance. This is how Americans work, especially white Americans. White Americans will subcategorize people. And it's easiest for them to do when they can label you as a thug, a criminal and illegal. These labels satisfy the clarity on their conscience. Whenever they're asked, they are able to justify the inhumane treatments and the destruction of families while they're sitting around the dinner table discussing these topics with their family. This is, uh, well, you know, they should have did the right way. Well, do you know if they did or not? Ever notice when you're talking to somebody and having a genuine discussion? They don't want to have a genuine discussion and they just kind of default. We all know why. It's because they want to believe Trump is going after the right people. It's because they don't want to be convinced otherwise. They want to live in this level delusion, because then they can just justify being like, well, you know, they're illegal. You know, they shouldn't have skipped the line. And they don't know anything. And that's the problem with Americans. It's not the fact that they don't know the information, they don't have access to the information, it's the fact that they are willing to ignore it to justify the treatment. That's the problem.
