Hook

Really hate waking this whole topic back up, but like, I feel like I feel like I'm like in toxic heat right now. What is wrong with these people? The way that they're telling stories about me, you would think that I'm the person who started homelessness. The internet is vast. It's filled with genuine critique/concern and also people eager for moral superiority/dominance. I'm gonna be honest with you and I hope you see this video and I'm gonna be respectful as possible. Um, in that moment of you making that video, talking about that homeless person and them being rude, you were being vulnerable. You came on the internet because, like, you know, this is your profile and you were able to just express yourself in the manner that you wanted to. You didn't want to have the the best take and make yourself seem so sanctimonious. You wanted to be like, that shit pissed me off. Like, why would you be mean to me when you're asking me for money? People who care about you and people who care about community would take that and see your frustration and, and reflected it in, in, in multiple ways. You were frustrated, but also you were sounding a little bit self-centered and you, I and I was reading the comments, you saw where people were. People were people could be down on their luck, you know, people don't know when their next meal is and you saw in the and you were like, well that's fair. You you have the ability of self-reflection and the in the ability to see what is wrong. Do not see, do not look at the people on the internet who are coming down on you and trying to have these sanctimonious takes and, and, and, and make you go towards an audience who are going to make you feel more welcomed, while that audience is are also horrible human beings. Republicans and people and shit on homeless people are terrible human beings. Respectfully. It just perked my ears up when you were talking about Republicans because the way you were sounding, it definitely sounded like rabbit hole talk. It sounded like you were going to go seek out an audience that would be more reflective of, like, you know, being less sensitive. Republicans are desensitized because they hate everything. We're talking about the same people who have blocked cancer research grants because of words, because of race and gender and what they determine as woke. So I don't want you to go down that rabbit hole, but that is not the point of the video. Aspect of being a human being, we aren't always, you know, gonna be the best mood, we're not gonna be the happiest, we're not gonna be in the right state of mind, and to expect another human being to, you know, be cordial with you at all times, I that is the standard, but we know realistically that we live in a country where people are starving, children are starving, you know, people are being laid off and being replaced with AI. There's so much stuff that's happening in the world right now, you know, it's it's getting harder. People are not being able to, you know, get their medication, and family members are dying. We are in a heatwave. Like, we are. We're we're we're we're suffering right now and I feel like expecting people to be in a in a better mood is kinda unrealistic. And I know that you were just coming from a place of frustration and I can relate to that, but then I also want us to be like, you know, it it is what it is. I don't know necessarily what you were doubling down on in this video because yes, absolutely, people should be kind to each other, but we should be making a more kinder world as well. We cannot expect ourselves to be kind when the the environment that we're living in isn't kind to us. So I just just want to say that. Just don't listen to all the noise. Tighten up a little bit.
