This was our morning in Kyiv today😢 We were leaving a coffee shop when the air raid siren started. We ran to the nearest shelter. A ballistic missile was flying over us. The sound was very scary, and the phone doesn’t capture how loud it really is. You don’t know where it’s going or what it’s going to hit, so your mind imagines the worst. It was a rainy morning with a lot of thunder. After that, every loud sound scares you because you don’t know if it’s thunder or something else. We waited for the air raid alert to end so it would be safe enough to go outside.
