Why China is NOT a Socialist Success Story

Name a single country where socialism worked. Okay. China in China. Socialism lifted over 800 million people from poverty. It was the largest and fastest quality of life improvement in human history. What? China's capitalist. Now, I don't think this person has actually visited China like...ever! Because technically China is neither capitalistic nor socialistic. It's more so technocratic under oligarchy systems. You see, China may say that they're communism and they use socialism, but really only the top 1% gets the benefit, the effects of capitalism and a lot of times the capitalism is sanctioned by the Communist Party, meaning the Communist Party gets to decide who gets to play in the capitalist sandbox. And that sandbox is really, really small. And so if you're in China, only the top 1% gets to play in the capitalistic system, where if you're 99%, you're kind of stuck, even if you have the best ideas, the best product and services and you want to compete in an open market. Eh.. sorry, you can't, you have zero vertical mobility to rise to the top. While here in the United States, though it's not perfect at all the time. An immigrant like me that had no network, zero education, zero language comprehension and I was endowed the freedom to be able to express those ideas, to build a business, to build an enterprise, to create jobs. Unlike, you know, let's say in places like China, Cuba, and yes, even in communism haven like North Korea.
