Amelia thinks that she's a water connoisseur. So she's gonna rank these waters and we're gonna see if she can taste water the way that she says she tastes water. Hello everybody, here's Martin, your personal water sommelier. Hello Amelia. Oh, I like this. So she's gonna rank these waters and we're gonna see if she can taste water the way that she says she tastes water. That's bitter. It's bitter. And there's a reason why Dajani tastes like the bitter because again, Dajani is purified tap water. There's barely any minerals dissolved. Your brain pretty much tells you, don't drink this, there's nothing in there. Why you put this into my body? That one's good. There's two reasons why you like tap water the most. First of all, your tap water is not really actually tap water. There's barely any minerals dissolved. So your brain pretty much tells you, don't drink this, there's nothing in there. Why you put this into my body? That one's good. There's two reasons why you like tap water the most. First of all, your tap water is not really actually tap water. It's well water with millions of year old natural filtration through bedrock into aquifers. Plus, UV filter and iron filters. It's so crisp and delicious. So your water is a product of mother nature. What is great like if your filtered water, that's the reason you like that water. And the more important reason is there is no best tasting water. Your brain thinks that is the best tasting water because you grew up on that water. People in New York will say that tap water tastes the best in blind tastings. I'm coming from from the Danish water in a blind tasting, I would say that water is the best tasting water. So your brain always thinks that's the best tasting water because you grew up on that water. People in New York will say that tap water tastes the best in blind tastings. I'm coming from from the Danish water in a blind tasting, I would say that water is the best tasting water. So your brain always thinks that's the best tasting water because you grew up on that water. And a little tip to make it even more interesting, do not chill these waters down. Taste them all on room temperature because when you chill down a beverage completely, you're numbing up your taste abilities due to the very, very cold liquid you're putting into your mouth. It's the same when you're eating ice cream. The first spoons are super yummy, but then when the ice cream is diluted into just a liquid, it's super sweet. That's actually the real taste. So check out all your waters without chilling them down and you will be surprised how even more intense these waters will taste. You know, like smart water, Aquafina, Dajani, you didn't enjoy. But you enjoyed your tap water again, because your tap water again is well water and if you're coming from a natural spring source, so these both waters have more minerals dissolved than all the three other waters. What are nothing else than highly processed purified tap waters with barely any minerals dissolved. So you enjoy high mineral content water. And you can measure this by TDS, total dissolved solids. The more minerals are combined in a water, the stronger will taste the water. And the more TDS is in the water, the more it's like mother nature has cooking your soup. No salt in the soup, tastes less and you're adding a little seasoning, a little salt to your soup, suddenly the soup will taste good. And you like tasty soup with salt. So, great job and you're a water snob. I'm a water sommelier, so maybe one day I become actually a water sommelier. Cheers. And happy hydration. Don't forget water is not just water.
