If you're in Hawaii and wanted to visit Disney's Aulani Resort without having a room reservation, here are five things you can do on property without being a hotel guest. First thing is exploring property. In typical Disney fashion, this resort is huge and gorgeous. I feel like I didn't even explore half of it. Second, meet Characters. You can also meet the characters, which was absolutely my favorite part. There are random characters always walking around property. I got to meet Max, Goofy, and Shely May and honestly, it brought the Disney magic to Hawaii. Third, Beach access. As a non-guest, you also get beach access. They have a gorgeous lagoon with the clearest water. I spent most of my time at the beach, but be mindful that chairs are just for hotel guests. Fourth, Dine & Drink. You can also dine and drink on property. There's a ton of quick service restaurants and if you want table service, make sure to reserve in advance. This was a last minute trip, so unfortunately, we couldn't get a reservation, but we still enjoyed the shave ice and I got a Mai Tai. Both were amazing and perfect for a hot day in Hawaii. Last but not least, you can shop for merch. I was obsessed with all the Aulani exclusives. They had ears, shirts, mugs, pins, I was in heaven. I couldn't leave without taking some of that Disney magic home. As a Disney adult, visiting Aulani has always been on my bucket list. I'm so grateful I got to experience it and hopefully next time I can see on property.
