Soooo what do you actually DO at a resort like this?🧐🏝️🚲 Most of these ultra-luxury resorts are located on their own private motu (islet), meaning you are mostly base-camped at the resort itself. Because of that, the amenities and daily activities available on-property matter immensely on a trip like this!! We spent 3 days exploring every inch of thewestinboraboraresort and here is exactly what a perfect day looks like 👇 🚲 The Morning Cruise You grab your resort beach cruiser and bike across the wooden boardwalks surrounded by views of Mount Otemanu. 🏋️♀️ Workouts with a View We hit their beautiful, state-of-the-art workout facilities to stay active before the midday heat. 🪸 The Resort Coral Garden This was a massive highlight! You can grab free gear from the beach shack and snorkel through the resort’s own preserved coral garden, swimming alongside hundreds of tropical fish and stingrays. 🐠🤿 🏖️ White Sand Lounging & Cultural Nights We spent the afternoons alternating between the pristine white sand beach and checking out the resort’s local cultural activities, finishing the day eating our way through their incredible on-property restaurants. 🥥🍽️ 👙 Maddie’s Wardrobe Secret: Because we were constantly flowing through swim sessions, workouts, bike rides, and lounge moments, I pretty much lived in my salted_au swimwear 24/7. It’s so comfortable and high-performance that it perfectly transitions from a workout to the water without a wardrobe change! 🤫✨ ✨ Our Take: You can absolutely book off-resort excursions (like shark swimming or jet skiing), but we highly recommend dedicating your first few days solely to enjoying the bungalow and the property. Don’t pay for a once-in-a-lifetime room just to leave it all day! 🗺️🙌 We learned a LOT about how to maximize your time at a resort like this, so stay tuned for our full, unfiltered review dropping next! 📌 Save this to help plan your ultimate French Polynesia itinerary! ✈️ follow along thetravelmentors for more epic bucketlist destination guides + itineraries 🌍 #borabora #overwaterbungalow #frenchpolynesia #luxuryresort #ta
