Let's go run the San Francisco full marathon vlog. 0.5 miles. We're at 0.5 miles. She wants to fall back. Mile 1. Mile 1, we're going in 908. This is the current view. We finally made it onto the bay, so we're getting some breeze. Look at that. Oh god. These hills. The hills are starting. Mile 3. Mile 3, we're running towards the Golden Gate Bridge. Look at that. Mile 4, it's a lot warmer than I thought it would be. Mile 5, we're now on like the beach. This is the ground. And actually feels pretty good compared to the asphalt. Also, I've never felt so bloated for a race. Like my stomach hurts. I feel like I have a giant heavy balloon. Mile 6. Mile 6, I feel it in my knees. Mile 7. Mile 8. Mile 8. Oh my god. Mile 9. Mile 10. There's been a lot of downhills which is making me nervous. We have to make our way back up. Mile 11. I might cry. The uphill. This point, it might be faster to walk. We're just gonna do a little speed walk. Mile 12. Mile 13. We're leaving Golden Gate. Mile 14. Mile 14, we're going downhill, but we're at the part of the race where it doesn't really feel good. All your muscles hurt. Mile 15. Mile 15, this is my rough spot of the race. I feel like you've been going forever and you still have over 10 miles left. Mile 16. Mile 17. We're running around the little lake. We were here a couple days ago with my run club. Mile 18. Mile 18, I feel like the water stations are a bit too far apart. Like I'm perpetually thirsty. Mile 19. I keep low-key catching myself falling asleep. My eyes are closed for like 15 seconds. And I got like, oh my god. Mile 20. Mile 20, it's supposed to be just downhill from here. Not even 9 AM. Mile 21. Mile 21, we were supposed to be done with the uphills. This is not done. Mile 22. Mile 23. Mile 24. Mile 25. This is my longest marathon ever. Mile 25, I'm not having fun. I just want to be done. Mile 26. Mile 26, according to my very accurate sports watch, we just hit 26.2 miles. Mile 26, I'm done. Oh my god, I see the finish line. Mile 26.2. 4:47:01. Holy shit. Thank you. Thank you so much. It was really hard. Longest marathon ever, but at least I don't have blisters. Thx to my @Bombas.
