An interesting limitation with the new Galaxy Z Fold 8 is that it does not have Flex Mode. So Flex Mode is that feature where you fold the phone about halfway and then from there, you're essentially getting like a mini tripod with your foldable. And in addition to that, you can watch video content up here, so it's kind of a cool way to use your foldable and yet another implementation. But with the Z Fold 8, when you try to do the same thing here and head over to the camera app, and then fold the phone about halfway, you can see the interface does not change at all. In fact, it's pretty difficult to even get the device to stay half folded, it kind of wants to spring one way or the other. So we're definitely getting some sort of different hinge mechanism here with the device, which certainly makes a lot of sense because it is technically a completely different phone. But you're not getting that Flex Mode here with the Z Fold 8. So I'm curious to know though, if that's important to you or not. I suppose with this being the Ultra and this being the non-Ultra, that does make sense. But it is interesting to know though that it's not just a software limitation, but a limitation with the actual hardware itself. Now, I'm sure for many, that's not even a big issue. There are many benefits to the form factor here with the Z Fold 8, that's for sure. But it is an interesting differentiating factor between these two devices and maybe something that will influence which choice you actually end up making. So if you want the full Ultra experience, you want to get all those extra features, then you can always spend a bit more money and go for an Ultra instead.
