The hologram is a screen; the screen is clear glass. The floating interface runs on a transparent OLED, a display where every pixel produces its own light while the glass around it stays see-through. That is why the menus look like they are hovering in the middle of the workshop. A capacitive touch layer over the glass turns each glowing panel into a working button. The custom Jarvis software running the screen is wired into real machines. Selecting the Spider-Man lens assembly sends the file straight to a Formlabs resin 3D printer, which spends the next three hours building the mask's lenses layer by layer until they lift off the build plate, ready to be held.
