Here’s my take on 5 things that are truly worth investing in for interior design! It’s always smart to focus on your home’s foundation, using the best materials and details. This sets the tone before you add any decorative pieces and really makes a difference. 1. Millwork! Think trim, baseboards, crown molding, and wall moldings, all of it! These elements truly define your home’s architectural style. 2. Quality metal finishes like polished nickel and unlacquered brass. They bring so much character and depth to a space. 3. Choose natural materials whenever possible for things like countertops, flooring, and metals. They age beautifully, last longer, and add an irreplaceable warmth and depth. 4. Go for the larger area rug. Yes, it’s more expensive, and a smaller size might seem more budget-friendly, but I promise the slight increase in price makes a dramatic difference in how your room feels! 5. If you can, opt for hardwood floors! I’ve had so many nightmare stories with LVP (Luxury Vinyl Plank) 🙈. LVP just doesn’t have the feel and depth of hardwood, and hardwoods are built to last forever! #interiordesign #interiordesigner #homedecor #Home #homedesign
