South Africa - the good and the bad. As a South African visiting my country once a year, I’ve learnt that there is true value here. Yes the lifestyle can be challenging sometimes with water electricity, but I wouldn’t trade our country for the world. I know we have gender-based violence here too, just like a lot of other countries do. And I know it’s something we are working on as a country. I’m not saying South Africa’s perfect. I’m just saying that I’d rather my beautiful country that I know and love, with that warm and kindness deep in our souls, than a country that honestly seems to have lost its soul. We have beauty in our culture here.
