Childhood house tour. I lived here between the ages of 11 and 27. Dear America, I just realised how that sounds to you. In my culture we live at home until we marry or decide to leave. We go to University close to home and contribute to bills when we live there as adults. We don’t leave home at 18 and South African-Indian parents want their daughters home until they marry or find a job overseas.
