This is a British makeup brand that refuses to retouch its photos. Today we have Revolution Beauty, previously known as Makeup Revolution. Think of them as the British version of our ELF cosmetics. I know about you guys, but I feel like they went through a packaging rebrand because this almost looked unrecognizable. The amount of new makeup launches they have, I can't keep up. Think I've ever seen a six prong brow pen before. Try my fair share of these hair like prongs before, I just don't know if they really work. It is a learning curve. Okay. And I like that they're a little bit on the lighter side. Is this just really hard to use? I think I'm just gonna stick to my traditional pen now. Now a little backstory about this brand. This was actually founded in 2014, so there's like a resurgence in blurring everything. Gonna go. With their pore blur primer base today, they have not been shy about creating cheaper alternatives to more prestige makeup brands. Aka Duke culture. I think it's refreshing to see a brand take a strong stance on something instead of being wishy washy about it. Oh no, I miss this guy. But this is a bright light 4 in one face glow. We all know what this one is trying to replicate. Shade that I grabbed is medium light. I feel like this is really warm on me. Is this supposed to be this orange? Maybe I got right about this one is. The wand is so chubby and thick. I love that. First point, as you might have guessed, is on the drugstore or mass retail. Outside it's on the lower end which makes it very accessible. Something about putting a glowy filter over a blur primer. The combo is elite. It is so blurring. My go to has been their IRL filter foundation. Had to restock upon this but then I saw this guy and I was like, are these the same thing? They literally has a 16 hour wear. 16 hour blur. Okay? Soft matte, soft matte. I don't know what the difference is. Be honest with your foundation shades. Okay, I'm a little confused at the organization. The lighter shades are actually darker and the darker shades are actually lighter. Like what is happening? Pretty straightforward. It's literally a pump mechanism. Okay? There's nothing fancy to it. I actually appreciate that they put in here two in 1 applicator on the actual packaging cause most of the time I don't think people realize that only is this a pump, but it also comes with a dough foot. Like so I don't realize the dough foot was actually that small. Is this my shade? F5 N W so it's neutral warm. How do I go from an 8 to a 5 and both of these are literally my shade? Look, maybe these are supposed to be the same foundation because they certainly feel it and look it. Okay, try and true. This is their IRL filter finish concealer in the shade C4. Supposed to be a soft matte finish, and it's also waterproof. Look at how brighty and blurring that is. These are their bouncy, putting cheek and lip tints. I actually think these are better for your cheeks than they are for your lips. This is a very K beauty inspired packaging. Comes with a mirror, comes with a little spatula applicator. Will not be using that, but I think the shades in the formula is so beautiful and juicy. Like, look at that. Okay, very similar to each other. Maybe this one's a bit more on the red side. Telling you, this whole blur trend is just taking on a whole new level. The face is blurred. First we had stains, now we have blurs. You guys, this palette, this is a multi use palette. Perfect for travel, especially if you like to have everything all in one place and travel light. I love that they include color corrector shades. These two shades right here. Color correction. Maybe all three of these blushes together. I love these multi purpose palettes. Start to have a weird scent, and this one, no scent. Okay. And beautiful. Beautiful shade. Like, every drugstore brand now has a contour or highlighter duo, but this is not a duo because it actually comes with a brush. Selfishly, I do wish it was due you could put one side of the blush A highlighter another bronzer contour shade would have you, but this is something that I do not will not be using. Let's see the shade even works. Absolutely not. This brush sucks. I know this is supposed to be a cool tone contour, but on my skin tone it's actually pulling more gray than I want. On the flip side, this actually makes the perfect nose contour cause it looks like a more realistic shadow. Is this Loki trying to be the next elf beauty?
