hailey gap collab vs. regular gap

Wait until the end for a side-by-side comparison. I bought both pairs because I wanted to test it out. I got the Hailey Bieber 90s low rise loose and I got the regular Gap 90s low rise loose. Right off the bat, just feeling the denim, the Hailey Bieber one is actually a lot thicker and more rigid than the regular Gap one. Feels a lot more... In terms of fabric construction, the Hailey Bieber jean is 100% cotton and the regular Gap jean is 99% cotton and 1% elastane. Let's try them on. This is the Hailey Bieber 90s low rise. Honestly, I really like this denim. I love the way it feels. It's structured but it's still soft. It fits great on the waist and I love it. This is the side. This is the back. And the other side. This is the regular Gap 90s low rise loose. As soon as I put them on, I can feel a significant difference. It does not have that rigid feeling. It fits a lot looser even though they're the exact same size because this has the 1% elastane. I think that's why I could probably go down a size because it's going to have that natural stretch. Whereas, I got the exact same size. It's a lot more rigid, but it'll loosen and mould to my body as I wear it. I think maybe because of the 1% elastane that the color of the denim just doesn't have that same rich denim feel to it. So I don't love the way that... but this was the color that they had closest to the Hailey Bieber jean. From the... from the back. The other side. What are my final thoughts? Hailey Bieber jeans win all. These cost me $118 whereas the Gap jeans cost me $59 and they were on sale. But this denim is just, the construction is better, the color is better, the fit is better. I think Gap should just make all their jeans in this construction and then we can have Hailey Bieber jeans.
