Okay, so it has come to my attention that quite a few people online have either never learnt how to read an analogue clock or struggle with the 24-hour clock, so I will teach you. Let's start with an analogue clock. So, every clock has an hour hand and a minute hand, and some clocks also have a second hand. The hour hand is the shortest, the minute hand is longer, and if your clock has one, the second hand is usually the longest and moves all the time. Starting at the very top, that's 12 o'clock. Then as you move around the clock, it goes 1, 2, 3, all the way to 11. Now, the minute hand works a little differently. Instead of counting 1, 2, 3, it counts in fives. 12 equals 0 minutes. 1 equals 5 minutes. 2 equals 10 minutes. 3 equals 15 minutes. 4 equals 20 minutes. You get the point. So, for example, if the hour hand is pointing at 3 and the minute hand is pointing at the 1, the time would be 3:05. Now let's talk about the 24-hour clock, which some people also call military time. The easiest way to think about it is this: From 00:00 to 12:59, nothing changes. So 09:30 is still 9:30 in the morning, and 12:00 is still midday. Once you get to 13:00, you simply subtract 12 from the hour. 13:00 to 1:00 pm. 14:00 to 2:00 pm. 15:00 to 3:00 pm. 16:00 to 4:00 pm, and you keep doing that all the way up to 23:59.
