I heard you're about to move to college for the first time or live in a rented apartment. Welcome to my college survival guide everyday for the next 30 days, I'm going to be sharing all the best budgeting and affordability tips. Let's be real, most of us are on a Dollar Tree budget. And the number one thing I wish someone would have told me before I went to college was how much storage and organization you need to have for your clothes. I want a mission to hit 300,000 followers before I finish this series in the next two weeks. So follow and tag somebody who is going back to college soon. One tip I would have is to loft your bed. Loft your bed in college. I like half lofted my bed so I could fit storage because I had a lot of clothes. And we're going to check out bins. The number one thing I wish someone would have told me before I went to college was how much storage and organization you need to have for your clothes. Please do not go to Walmart and Target and spend $10 on these bins. Everyone's room might be set up a little different, but here are a few more storage ideas that you can use with these same bins or items you can find at Dollar Tree. Dollar Tree also now has like a $10 and below section and they had $5 and below section and they had some higher quality bins like these. I've already made a lot of videos in this series and this is something I would use to put our DIY in laundry hampers, trash cans, also these bins that had them tops on them, which would be good if you go to school where it's cold and or hot and you need to store some of your winter or summer clothes away. I also already did a DIY with these wooden boxes I found at Dollar Tree. If you want to watch the other College Survival Guide series, there is a playlist below. These would be super cute to paint and use for more storage in your dorm room or apartment. If you plan to do any kind of Greek life or maybe you're already in college, use these. I think some people assume that if you're shopping at Dollar Tree, you're not going to be able to achieve your dream room and spoil, but I actually disagree with that because you're savings things you really don't want to buy and you can spend more money on decor, bedding, things that you actually care about. Comment below what day you're going back to college or where you will be going and I will see you tomorrow.
