Most white people aren't expecting you to move because you're black. They are just walking. You are the one turning a sidewalk into a race battle. That is not your ancestors wildest dreams. Your ancestors dreamed you would be educated, free and able to walk with dignity. They fought so you could walk freely, not so you could elbow check strangers to make a point. Bumping into people on purpose isn't activism. It's weird, racist and embarrassing. Nobody is thinking about you that deeply. Most people are just walking.
