As a child of God, I know I will be protected from this petty bitch. Here's the thing. Athena is a pick me. But actually, she's even worse than that. She's not a girl's girl. She's one of those, like, I don't have female friends. She's one of those people, unfortunately, she's very selfish and self-centered for her own stuff and for her own glory, right? Which makes sense as she is a god. All the gods suck. And the thing about Athena is why she's so disappointing is because you literally like you have been amazing, you've done cool things sometimes. Other times you do whack as hell things. This is one of those whack as hell things. Because there's literally now currently people look at the story of Medusa and they've kind of re-seen it or reworked it in a way where it's like, oh, maybe Athena was trying to protect, protect Medusa in a certain type of way. I really do not think she was. Medusa actually comes from, like, not magical background, but like creature background. Like her dad was a sea god or something. And her mom was doing some other stuff. All her siblings are all different creatures. She was the only mortal. And she was hot. Hot, hot, hot. Beautiful woman. She decides to become a priestess of Athena. Everything's chill, everything's copacetic until Poseidon opens his stupid little fish eyes at her and he's like, hey, I want some of that. Bring it over. And she went, no, no, thank you. Because I need you to understand something. To be a priestess of Athena, you have to be a virgin. You have to be chaste. You cannot have sex. You cannot have sex. So she was saying no, because one, she said no, and her no should have been no. But also two, literally her life to be a virgin in like supplication to Athena. And Poseidon, he goes, I don't give a fuck. And he raped her inside of Athena's temple. So you heard that, I heard that. Who should you be upset with? Should it be your uncle who raped you employee in your home? Or should it be your victim employee? Well, if you're Athena, you're pissed at the employee. So what she does is she curses Athena and makes her a Gorgon. The way that her sister is also Gorgon, but like the ugliest, most freakish one. Where whatever, from now on, from any time anyone looks at her, Medusa, they will turn into stone. She is ugly, she's freakish, no one can look at her in the eyes. That's what Athena does. Now, this is where modern feminists are saying that Athena did that to protect her, to protect her. So now no one can ever hurt her, right? Which could make that argument, if it wasn't for the fact of how Medusa dies. Much later, there is a mortal prince, his name is Perseus. His dad, not his dad, but this dude basically Perseus is on a mission to kill Medusa because a guy gave him gave him an impossible mission to murder Medusa because he wanted to marry Medusa's mom. So, like, none of this matters. But what does matter is that Perseus got help from Athena to murder Medusa. Athena not only tells him like, hey, by the way, here's some cheat codes. Don't look at her in the eye. Use this polished shield to look at this, to behead her and murder her. Also, here are the coordinates of where she lives. And then gives it to Athena, who then uses it as her woman's severed head as a weapon. Why? What is wrong with you, Athena? God is here, he will protect me. What's wrong with you, Athena? You've already cursed her. She's already like, not able to have relationships with anyone really except her sisters, which at least she has her sisters. Which at least, I guess. And then Perseus goes and murders her. Cuts her head off, right? And it doesn't even end there. No, it does not. He then takes the head, brings it back, proves that he did it, whatever like that. And then gives it to Athena, who then puts it on her shield and uses it as a weapon. Why? Why?
