Most founders think their pitch deck has one job. To convince an investor to invest. It doesn't. Its job is much simpler than that. A great deck creates enough curiosity for an investor to ask for the next meeting. That's it. The real fundraising starts when you're sitting across the table, answering tough questions, explaining your vision, and showing why you're the right person to build the company. Don't try to fit your entire business into a deck. Focus on giving investors a reason to keep the conversation going.
