How much should you pay yourself as a startup founder? This topic always seems to be controversial, but I don’t know why. Every founder has a unique situation and as an investor, it’s not my position to determine if X salary is better than Y salary. What I care about is that founders are incentivised through their equity ownership, and this is the best way to create alignment.
