If you’re looking for an engagement gift idea, this is one of those classics that you can easily adapt depending on your budget. I used a champagne bucket I already had at home as the base, but you can find similar styles from $50. From there I added a pair of Krosno champagne glasses ($39.95), a bottle of Georg Jensen Hallmark Cuvée ($44), which comes with the champagne stopper, and some fresh white flowers from my local florist (my budget was $60). For the flowers, I asked my florist for a small piece of wet floral foam as well. I tucked that into one side of the bucket, which made it much easier to position the stems exactly where I wanted them. I then finished the bottle with an oversized bow and extra-long tails to make the presentation feel a little more special. You could easily make this your own too. Spend more or less on the sparkling, swap in your favourite glassware, or leave the flowers out altogether for a more minimal version.
