back to school gear inventory

School starts in just a few weeks and as a high school cheer coach that means it's time to inventory of the gear that I have. We're gonna start with poms. My school has a bit of a storage problem and so all of this stuff has been just put on top of the lockers, just put on top of the lockers. And so we're gonna try and get this down and go through it all. Get this down and go through it all. The AC isn't working in this building right now. I'm gonna get really sweaty. I'm gonna get really sweaty. I have several bags of these poms as well as a few boxes. I have no idea how many sets I actually have. So we're gonna inventory them. Last season we started with these. I ordered them on Amazon. I had just started coaching and they're a little crusty and they kinda smell. And then we upgraded to these which are much better. And so these are gonna be our new practice poms. And then I already ordered new poms for the sideline. Trash. You get the point. We have 18 total silver and white poms. I didn't count how many of these cause they're all going in the trash. Like, they're a little crusty. I also have some new unused ones from the same order. I think I ordered double. And so have a bit of a so I have plenty for all the girls to practice with. Girls to practice with. Varsity gives you these plastic bags and I'm just gonna put a set in each bag to the girls. I can just hand them off and they're not all squished and gross. I posted a story one time and the girls were spiriting like shaking their poms. And someone replied to my DM and was like, are poms that loud? And it was a guy. I don't think he realized that poms make a very aggressive crinkle sound when you shake them. So like, the video is really loud. Yes, poms are really loud. And when you shake them really hard, sometimes it's hard to hear what's going on around you. At least for me, I would get lost in the sound. We have all the bags down here and then the used practice ones up top. I think that's good!
