DO NOT USE Creator Search Insights unless you do this!

Has anyone ever told you that Creator Search Insights can actually hurt your account? There is one mistake almost every creator makes when they're using Creator Search Insights. Most people completely skip the demographic section under the topic. This is probably the reason why your content gap videos are not performing the way that you would like them to. It can absolutely hurt your views, and most creators don't even know that they're doing this. So before I show you the mistake, make sure you save this video because you're gonna wanna come back and watch this again next time you Creator Search Insights. If you're totally unsure what Creator Search Insights is or how to use it correctly, go to the video I posted right before this one and then come back here. When you're using Creator Search Insights, you're going straight to the Content Gap tab, because that's what TikTok is telling you to do. So you find a topic under Content Gap, you make sure it has an upward arrow, you post a video, and then nothing happens. It gets no views, no reach, and then you're wondering, this was supposed to work. So before you make a video, tap into the topic and check who is actually searching for that topic. The demographics matter a lot more than people realize. Check the countries, check the age ranges, check the gender breakdown, because you have to remember that TikTok is global. Just because a topic is trending does not mean that it's trending with your audience. If your audience is in the US, but your topic is exploding somewhere completely different, that is a reason why your videos may not be performing the way that you expected. So before you use Creator Search Insights and the Content Gap next time, check the demographics first. It takes literally five seconds. It could literally be the difference of you making a video for your audience or someone else's.
