I went to Peached Tortilla last night for the first time and it is safe to say it is now one of my top favorite restaurants in Austin. And they also have an amazing happy hour. We walked in during their social hour which runs every single day from 5 to 6:30 PM. $5 beer, $7 wine, $7 cocktails. The Margarita de Peached was a little spicy but also okay, strong. We checked out their social hour menu and we of course had to put in an order for the charred Brussels before the happy hour ended. We also went with their OG pork wontons. Those are a must order. I think we were underestimating serving size or maybe our eyes were just bigger than our stomachs because we ordered the Japa-burger, the Korean hanger steak, the Southern Fun which is like brisket bowl. To say we were full was an understatement. We just couldn't stop. Like the flavors on real. My only regret is that we did not have enough room for dessert. Otherwise, they have a matcha shortcake on the menu that just sounds so good. The service, the atmosphere, the food, everything here was super intentional. You have to save this one. Whether you've been to Peached Tortilla or if you're a first timer, you will not regret it. I can promise you that.
