only letting my dogs potty ONCE during a 12+ hour road trip 😳🚙🐶🤷🏼‍♀️ i'm already waiting for the comments saying i'm abusive and a bad dog mom but on long road trips like i did recently with my dogs we did a 12 hour drive and they only were let out ONCE to go potty At first you might think that's so mean but think about it Most dogs sleep throughout the day and if you're at work they might be sleeping for 6+ hours That's basically what my dogs are doing except they're sleeping in the car So for this 12 hour road trip when it was dinner time I fed them at a rest stop and they all went to the bathroom had their dinner and then it was back on the road And yes I'm feeding raw food in this video I typically don't like doing it on road trips because I hate keeping it frozen and handling it outside of having a kitchen sink but I was unprepared and forgot to get the dogs some dried food so we had a little bit of raw left and that's what I was working with And yes I used wet wipes after walked inside and washed my hands Everyone chill out I'm so proud of my dogs They've done so many road trips to the point where this is just normal for them And since we've been doing this for years they understand that every time I stop to go to the bathroom or get gas that does not mean that they're going to get out as well Road trips with dogs can actually be really easy and fun if you have well trained dogs and understand what they really need
