ASUS is one of the biggest names in PC hardware. They make motherboards, monitors, laptops, and of course, graphics cards. Their GPU lineup is split into three tiers. ROG Strix is the top end, big coolers, factory overclocks, premium build quality, and a price tag to match. TUF Gaming sits in the middle. Solid cooling, reasonable pricing, and still reliable enough for most people. Then there is the Dual series, which is their budget option. Usually a two-fan design with no frills. ASUS makes cards for both NVIDIA and AMD. The build quality is generally excellent across all three lines. But, ASUS cards tend to be some of the most expensive AIB options on the market. ROG Strix version of any GPU can cost sixty to a hundred dollars more than the same chip from another brand. You are paying for the name and the extras, not for more raw GPU performance. The warranty process has also been a sore spot for some users over the years. If money is not an issue, and you want a premium card that runs cool and quiet, ASUS is a safe pick. But, if you are on a budget, there are better options for the price. MSI. MSI makes cards for both NVIDIA and AMD. Their build quality is also excellent. They have three main lines. The Suprim X is their top-end card. It has a big cooler, factory overclock, and premium build quality. The Gaming X Trio is their mid-range card.
