So you know the drill. He’s got all the opinions and now it’s your turn. Which one had you laughing the most this week? Here are my takes and tags: Afternoon Delight @maisonmargielafragrances I know this doesn’t sound like a jam, but BBP smells like vanilla and cinnamon. This is a fragrance wardrobe staple if you’re a vanilla girlie. Lasts 6 hours, projects super well too. And the price for the 1oz is extremely reasonable. Harvest Mouse @Zoologist Perfumes If you’re familiar with this house you know they can be challenging and polarizing. Harvest Mouse is absolutely precious. The coziest vanilla chamomile with a hint of evergreen. This is a warm hug on a fall day. I wore this last night to dinner, got multiple comments and had to write down the name twice. Strong for 5ish hours and a good projector (clearly) Match Made In Heaven @Sorce Of my entire collection, I reach for Sorce frags the most consistently. There’s something citrus about this one that combined with matcha + ice cream really does sorda lean into the pineapple territory, but not in the way pineapple is typically done. This is creamy gourmand deliciousness. Not the greatest lasting power though and projection dwindles after about 2 hours. Doesn’t matter on this one though, I’ll respray. L’eau de Parfum @cirquedusoleil The way I’ve been craving this fragrance. Circus, fair, festival, it’s all right. This is sweet and savory gourmand that really makes all the memory wheels turn. Kettle corn, funnel cakes, cotton candy, candied apples, it’s all there. Individually. Another that will require a respray after about 3-4 hours, but I can’t make myself care. Mangomacumba Spiritica This house has ALL the notes that make you sit up and pay attention, however, they forgot to put their money where their mouths are. Blood, nope. Metallic, nope. Animal, not that I wanted that but still a nope. This smells like a pretty but generic shampoo-y fruity floral. You can find the same thing for much cheaper. I will say the packaging is gorg though. Thanks for making this series something we look forward to every week. The comments, the questions, the recommendations, I love it all and couldn’t do it without y’all.
